In the Company of Charity
In the Company of Charity is a podcast that invites listeners into meaningful conversations about the Catholic Church, society, and service to others, all through the lens of the spirit we've received from St. Vincent de Paul, the saint of charity. Hosted by the Daughters of Charity, each episode offers thought-provoking dialogue with nonprofit leaders, spiritual thinkers, and those working on the front lines of charity and advocacy. We explore how the spirit of service can inspire real-world action and personal transformation. Whether you're seeking spiritual enrichment or a deeper understanding of charitable work, you'll find companionship and insight here.

Compassion on the Water: The Spiritual Impact of Mercy Ships
If you had the opportunity to leave everything behind and live on a ship to serve those in need, would you? Today's guest, Reanne Newquist, and her family did. The family of five left their lives in California to serve the sick in West Africa with Mercy Ships. For a year, they lived onboard the Africa Mercy Ship, a vessel docked in Senegal. Now, Reanne is sharing with us not only her story, but the mission of Mercy Ships and how they are working to serve those most in need.
